This time of the year I love to watch all the adolescent animals capering and prancing in the pastures and fields I drive past daily. A spindly-legged young fox loped awkwardly ahead of my truck for about a block before he noticed me following him down a dirt road yesterday. He just veered off the road into the tall grass of the ditch to let me pass.
