The Mask of Zorro was a big hit in our local cinemas, as other Antonio Banderas movies of recent vintage. There was one which didn't become quite a hit here. It is called "The Body". I saw the movie for the first time in VCD yesterday, thanks to my new gadget. "The Body" is the story of how a... Sign in to see full entry.

Turn That Thing Off!

How come Americans come up with interesting articles like the one below? For the full article, click here. It's your television watching that changed your mind, or to use Becker's terms, ``shaped your perceptions.'' Twenty years ago, most people thought that the lunacy that is now called... A Conversation About The Passion of the Christ

I recently had an exchange of posts about the movie The Passion of the Christ at Christian Forums. My interlocutor's post are in blockquotes; horizontal rules mark the end of a forum post. Any movie that fixates on the torture Jesus went through completely misses the point and is simply trying to... Sign in to see full entry.
