An uninvited guest?

I appreciate all the recent kind comments on my last blog. I was having a hard day. All is well that ends well - the cliche that came to mind. I was able to talk to my daughter-in-law about it later. She said it was OK. Then she told me to be careful not to get too tired (?) because I forgot to lock the door one day and this evening I left the oven on at 400 degrees. I have been too tired and forgetting things. Things seem OK between us now. Today after church it concerned me a bit when the... Sign in to see full entry.

Apologies

I'm having a bummer of a day. It started out OK, with church. But afterwards, there was a misunderstanding between my son and daughter-in-law and I about meals. I had told them yesterday that I would buy pizza Sunday. The problem came in with my communication. I was thinking late afternoon, the supper meal. They were thinking right after church. Anyway, because of this there are some hard feelings here. I felt really bad and "apologized", trying to make things right, offering to get pizza later.... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
