5 minutes

I have a few minutes to write. That's how it's going to be most of the time. 5 here, 10 there. My right shoulder hurts. Why? Because I cannot stay away from shooting baskets. We joined an athletic club so that this winter we will get some exercise. They had a contest. From the freethrow line, how many can you shoot out of 25? They had it by ages and gender. So, because I was the only women over 50 who tried it, I won. I'm embarrassed to say that I won by getting 5 out of 25. But, everytime I go... Sign in to see full entry.

Writing and Brainstorming

I was reading a blog written by formerstudentintern and agree totally with not knowing what to write about. Sometimes I think that I shouldn't be writing about myself. But then that's what I end up writing about the most. So, today I will brainstorm and write subjects I might write about. If you see one that sounds interesting please let me know. On Work

I have a cleaning job in 1 hour. It is for an elderly lady and is only about 1 1/2 hours. Then I have an office cleaning job tonight that takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending if my boys help or I do it by myself. I have been married 27 years and most of those years I have not worked out of the home. I was busy raising our children. My husband was a timber faller for many years and worked very hard. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
