It, along with the top part of my foot are still swollen, but that's pretty much a daily occurence now, so I can live with it. NIKOLAI CONTINUED
To say that he had no family of his own is a lie, but he cannot bear speaking of them. His grandparents died years ago. Mama still lives in Moskow, in a large house not far from the banks of the river Irtish. He still calls her once a week. She is in ill health now, and he often considers traveling... COURAGE IN THE FACE OF HORROR
I have a deep admiration for the people of the Netherlands. I long to see Holland...I want some day to visit the house at 263 Princengracht and talk silently to Anne Frank. To the Germans who stole her young life from her, she was a worthless Jew, not fit to live. To me, she was no more than a girl.... Sign in to see full entry.

Well, as I thought, my appointment with Doctor Herman went well. He's very nice. The whole time I was in his office, he kept telling me all these really stupid, corny doctor jokes. I laughed, which I think made him happy. Mum told me the poor man had cancer when he was very young. She also told me... Sign in to see full entry.
