I managed to get hold of Grammy last night. When I called, she was out, so I left a message on her machine and she called me back. It was nice to hear from her, but I could tell she was so sad! Did anyone see the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday? I did, and the subject matter broke my heart in half. Much as I sobbed, I'm so glad I watched. Today is my mum's birthday. She came for coffee on Friday, and I decided I'd better give her my birthday gift early.
