BELIEVERS SEEM TO BE CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT FREEDOM IS

There really seems to be confusing among a good deal of believers as to what freedom is all about. We have the ignorant ideas that says that to take 'Under God' out of the Pledge of Allegiance or to remove the Ten Commandments from government building is somehow denying them freedom. How so?
