Don't Gloat: France is Losing it For Real..."Précarité"...................

Last week the French Parliament passed a jobs program intended to help the young people looking for jobs and the economy. However, giving employers rights to sever temporary employees has ignited a popular explosion. Many say that it appears to be similar to the 1968 student riots, starting at the Sorbonne, and quickly escalating to millions in the streets throwing molotov coctails and taunting the gendarmes on Saturday the 18th. Many of you have no doubt seen this on the TV news. Well, my... Sign in to see full entry.

President Bush -- in his own words.........................................

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/03/20060313-3.html THE PRESIDENT: Thanks for the warm welcome. Cliff, thanks for the introduction. It's a pleasure to be with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. This organization was formed in the wake of the September the 11th attacks to fight the ideologies that drive terrorism. You recognized immediately that the war on terror is a struggle between freedom and tyranny -- and that the path to lasting security is to defeat the hateful... Sign in to see full entry.

Hillary Clinton, 17 million in the bank and no one to spend it against..NYT

I was just saying to my sister yesterday, that Mark Warner looks like the John Kerry to Howard Dean. What do you mean, she asked? Just like in Iowa when the Democrats realized that Dean couldn't win in November, they voted for Kerry. Same looks to be shaping up with Hillary, only much more subtle. My sister responded, "She's a train wreck, you can't help but look." --kingmi --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The... The day I agree with this blogger is worth writing up. Unbelievable!!!!

I have to agree with DamonLeigh on this one... You know last year after the national election, the first thing the Bush Administration put on the table was the illegal immigration issue. They stated that we needed a worker exchange program. Most of the thoughtless conservatives put it down as general amnesty, liek Jimmy Carter did in the 70's, jumped ship and have been treading water in denial on this issue ever since. Well, don't blame George. He tried and failed to get anyone's attention here.... Sign in to see full entry.

Blogger President has no choice but to use nuclear weapons against Iran

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Commentary/com-3_8_06_TB.html Tony Blankly states correctly that the press will not report the events of the past few months and years as terrorist acts: starting with the most recent past and working backwards we have the Chapel Hill incident, the Antwerpen firebombings, the Worldwide Cartoon protests, and last fall's European car burnings, and before that a LAX attempt that was reported as a random act of violence. These are terrorist acts, and in not reporting... Sign in to see full entry.

This older Blogger brings some reason to bear on the subject...............

http://www.time.com/time/columnist/klein/article/0,9565,1169862,00.html This is a great article, the first I have enjoyed by Mr. Klein ever since I read Primary Colors. That book I enjoyed even before I knew that he had written it. If you recall, that was the expose -- which did no good or harm to the teflon king -- that told of Bill Clinton's aggressive and predatory sexual nature. This article correctly tells us that "globalisation" -- which we are afraid of, most of us -- is necessary, but it... Sign in to see full entry.

Nate Scharansky Nuclear Scientist, Russian Dissidant, Jewish Immigrant

http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/sunday/commentary/la-op-sharansky5mar05,0,7408348.story?coll=la-sunday-commentary Well, the question posed by this article is the one we all want answered. Was it really a good idea to give third world nations democracy? Was it the same as giving a patient dying of emphysema access to oxygen cannisters? Or was it like giving a child a loaded weapon? March 2, 2006 The Clintons on Dubai By Robert Novak source: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Commentary/com-3_2_06_RN.html WASHINGTON -- While Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was ripping President Bush's handling of American ports management, Bill Clinton was pushing for one of his favorite White House aides to be hired to defend the deal. The former president proposed to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) his onetime press secretary, Joe Lockhart, as Washington spokesman for the UAE-owned company,... Sign in to see full entry.

Senator Hillary Clinton in her own words...................................

They're American ports http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ideas_opinions/story/395650p-335405c.html By SENS. HILLARY CLINTON & ROBERT MENENDEZ The announcement by Dubai Ports World that it will complete the acquisition of operations at six U.S. ports tomorrow but delay control does nothing to alleviate the responsibility of the Bush administration and Congress to block this deal from moving forward. We have a responsibility to examine the troubling facts surrounding this transaction and the broader... Sign in to see full entry.
