Training to anywhere is improved nursing. RE the social togetherness factor, we all struggle with financial options.

The Sad Thing...
...about all those Philipino nurses is that they were trained in the Philippines, at a cost the government there, and then the country loses out on that investment as the skill moves abroad.
In other words, the UK (a wealthy country) is effectively out-sourcing nurse training to the Philippines ( a poor, developing nation). Ah, the joys of globalisation.
Worse still, many of these nurses leave behind husbands and children for years on end as they work here, often on worse wages than is even legal, and send money home to support their families. Where does that leave social unity and family life.
