The "Address" for blogs

It is my understanding that the "address" is suppost to be simular to the title of the blog.  How simular?  Does it make a big difference?

Featured Blogs

Hello, I am new here and already fairly addicted. BN is what I was looking for but didn't know it. My question- how is it decided which blogs get into the "featured blogs" portion of the homepage? Thank you. Becoming

Mature Audiences

Isn't there a way someone who has logged into the MA category at least once can bypass the part where you have to enter your email address and password?  I hate having to enter the info every time I try to read an MA blog.

AND I find it absolutely absurd that I have to enter that information to read MY OWN blog in the MA category.

That's Okay!

I figured out how to transfer the images!  Yipee!

One small question and a big hello!

Well, I just joined the site.  Pretty big and scary in here.  It almost echoes.  I'd like to say hi to everyone and I have one small question.  How do you load photos and graphics here?

Thank a bunch and have a great day.

I WAS RIGHT

For the second time, the story about Storus and Manna are gone.  That really isn't fair and can be frustrating.  Please correct the problem so I don't have to write the story 100 times.

WRITING AND SAVING WORK

I think that I might have lost a story twice.  I hope I'm wrong.  It was a great story about Storus and Manna.  Please have it still in the system because I don't want to have to write it again.  Chapters should be as long as needed in order to tell a story.  I know that the computer should be storing the story so that I can retrieve it at any time.  But I'm afraid my ideas go beyond what's real and I'll continue to be frustrated.

Save your work!

I  feel sad when I hear that people lose their writing. It's important to do your writing in a word program and save it before posting anywhere. You can also edit and spell-check beforehand then copy and then paste it onto the network.

LOSING MORE POSTS

I just spent over two hours writing a wonderful Newgate, New York story to add as a post.  Did I lose it too because of something totally out of my power when I submitted it?  I can rewrite it.  But the point is, I shouldn't be losing material I assume following directions should save.  I hope you have kept the story about Storus the art student and Manna the woman he grows to love.

Fonts show up larger, but not smaller

Okay, this is weird: I have always used font size #3 or larger. It looks smaller when it's posted than when I write it, but I expect that. (If I reset my browser to "larger" rather than "medium," it looks the way it does in the text box.)

But here's a weird thing: in my latest post I made some of the text #2 size, some of the text #5 size, and most of it #3 size. #5 size is there, but the things I formatted as #2 are #3 no matter what my browser setting is, although they looked smaller in the text box. What is going on?
