My dripping tap is dripping but ever so slowly

I just relisted my first dripping tap project on eBay which brings to completion my first 10 days (it was a 10 day listing) of this effort. If you remember, the project involved using the first weekend of July to revamp my template for osCommerce, put it on auto download and then set the wheels in... Sign in to see full entry.

Some changes to this blog .. . . . . .

It was time to remove the last of my old basic blog templates but I didn't want to lose it's look completely. If you remember, the old template had the following color scheme. I took the image above, then cropped, tinted, stretched and manipulated it to use bits and pieces. Then I dropped the bits... Sign in to see full entry.

Still dipping my toes but with purpose

I have a purpose for slowing down and absorbing the next phase. There is a huge learning curve facing me, one that may take a mere mortal man a semester to abosrb. I hope to advance through 101, 201 and 301 in a relatively short time frame but also avoid those embarrassing retreats that are... Sign in to see full entry.

The Dripping Tap Principle - next phases

I ended up finishing my last project a few days ahead of schedule so I took some time to promote it and think about the next dripping tap project. My junk business is dead this time of year (mostly by design), it is a good time to do things such as this. The next phase of the dripping tap principle... Sign in to see full entry.

The project is done

Now I have my "Dripping Tap Principle" project completed enough to go live. I'm going to drop some links, of which the first 2 will both open in new windows. Simply close each window to return to this blog. When the project was completed 3 days ahead of schedule, I went through it again to be... Sign in to see full entry.

The Dripping Tap Principle of accumulating some cash.

I know I said that this post was to be posted "tomorrow" but sometimes tomorrow never comes. I decided to use some downtime from the junk business to set up something I have wanted to set up as a "dripping tap" for some time now. The project swept me away with the possibilities but I have its... Sign in to see full entry.

Junkdom guidelines encapsulated

When people outside of my social periphery ask me what I do for a living, I simply answer that I am in the "buying/selling" game. It is commonly understood what is implied by this term by most people; you are buying something at a certain price, then selling it at a higher price with the difference... Where are the goods - part 2

North America is littered with gold, we are figuratively standing knee deep in wealth, all one needs to do to realize this wealth is change some hardened attitudes. Number one of all of the junk questions I am asked is "Where do you find things to sell?".... the answer is everywhere and anywhere but... Sign in to see full entry.

Where are the goods for your junk kingdom?

But first things first: To become junk royalty, a person needs to undergo a transformation of their thought processes. The basic premise is easy enough in finding things that have been undervalued by others but the knowledge, attitudes and clairvoyance you will need, take a bit of time to develop.... Becoming a successful "Junkee"

The term "junk" is an all encompassing term to include anything that is seen as a disposal issue, surplus item or something of value that can be purchased for pennies on the dollar or taken away for free. It can (and will) also include new items sold to the same clients who buy your junk. Depending... Sign in to see full entry.
