On the matter of change -

The humanity of life is changing - we lost ourselves in fear and began following the fool who thought there was a way to alleviate that fear through brutishness and bullying - violence became the method of bringing others to consider who was most feared and foolish, elevating that misdirected frightened soul to power in order to disolve its feeling of powerlessness - they called this elevated fear-monger God and thus began the age of insanity. Fear not. Life is neutral - choosing to live in... Sign in to see full entry.

Congressional Vote for Spin

The recent cave in by the Democratic Majority in congress that amounted to nothing but total disregard in the eyes of the American populace has its silver lining for the politicians running for president, namely Clinton and Obama. Shame on them. Instead of having courage and showing leadership on our most critical course of action, Obama and Clinton waited in the wings of the halls of the American Peoples congress to caste their vote against funding the war. Stratigicaly, politically, it was the... Sign in to see full entry.

Out on a Limb - No Apology Necessary

Kerry, the dull and cautious man that he is, put his wit to the fore and floundered in presenting a "joke" about the AWOL pResident iAND COMMANDER IN CHIEF. Problem is, that it is no joke. The seriousness of our situation in Iraq and Bush’s "War on Terrorism" is not something to gaff at concerning our present military. As an all "volunteer" military, it is those who feel their choices in our society are limited and fall prey to the promise that prosperity and opportunity lie within the rank and... An Evil Unleashed

All Hallows Eve is soon approaching and Americans are preparing their children to participate in the long tradition of masquerading as make believe ghosts, goblins, witches, devils, demons and super heros. This innocent activity is playful and helps children place fearful images within their own control and creation--and using a terrorist act to acquire sweet desires, knocking on doors of strangers and demanding goodies or else and terrible "trick" would be played on the mean miser who does not... My God is My God

God cannot be "defined" by me or any other person. Every person who embraces the concept of God creates their own image and expression of God. There are as many deffinitions and illustrations of God as there are human beings. But, if oneness is a part of God, then there is only one God--your own. God is a personal matter and if God is a sacred thing, then it is also private. I would no more describe a moment of sexual intimacy to a stranger than I would describe the intimacy I have with God.... Sign in to see full entry.

Pedophile or War?

Pedophile or War It was too good to be true. It really was, but true indeed. They caught a Republican Pedophile in Congress. FRONT PAGE NEWS. Milk this for all it’s worth and KEEP THE PUBLIC EYE off what Bush and Co. Are doing. Yeah, yeah, keep ‘em focused on SEX, yeah, heh, heh, SEX with CHILDREN, oh, yeah! Neo-Cons HATE gays. Worse than hating gays, ALL AMERICANS HATE PEDOPHILES. Perfect distraction from what is really important that the NEWS MEDIA SHOULD BE REPORTING. What are we not seeing... Sign in to see full entry.

Remember the TORTURE BILL?

I’ve been watching the decline and decay of American Government for years, but never at a time has the People of America been at such a great risk for losing their moral compass as they are at this time. The Congress, both the House and Senate, under the Military Commissions Act 2006, have voted away Habeas Corpus, the right to be told what "crime" a person is being arrested for and with this the right to counsel concerning the charge presented with Habeas Corpus. You, the citizen, become the... Sign in to see full entry.

America: Home of the Tortured Dissident

Well, I see that it's official. Dissidence is now taken on a greater risk than just being shouted down by raging republicans who don't understand what our Bill of Rights means. Sure, we have "freedom of speech" but be careful what you say now, cuz that could be considered an act of dissidence and you might be categorized in the great Bush Brain as an Enemy Combatant, stirring up the rabble against the all wise and all knowing and all capable Leader of the "Free" world who now can suppress... Torture is a necessity in Christianity

Without torture, there'd be no martyrs. Christianity thrives on the idea of dying for god and profess the "willingness" to suffer any offense or pain imposed upon them in order to show the strength of the faith in Jesus and / or God. American Christians have become so soft--they don't know what torture is, so it is easy for them to rally around the idea of bringing that language back into vogue and ministering the vile acts upon others... hmm...well, so little Americans remember. The persecution... Sign in to see full entry.

Why Democracy fails

Power is not interested in freedom, it's goal is to restrict and ultimately remove freedom from the civilized body. Money is power. To think otherwise is to be gullible, altruistic and foolish. Try not using money for a day--no Starbucks, no British Petroleum, no WalMart trips to trade your dollars for stuff you don't really need. To take power away from Corporations and the politicians that kowtow to their agenda, keep your money and starve the beast that is destroying this country with greed... Sign in to see full entry.

Death at the door--

For most people, death is sudden, even if they have a lingering fatal disease. We are all going to die; there is no way out but through death. People live their lives as if they aren't going to die, or at least not "until I am old." I went with a close friend of mine who had to have angioplasty surgery and the nurse was taking health information and asked him if he still smoked cigarettes. He answered yes, about a pack a day. She emphatically said "you're going to die if you don't quit smoking!"... Sign in to see full entry.

Red Ties that Bind

I've been silent for some time, watching, reading, listening. The most obvious change in the media that I've noticed is the "Red Tie Syndrome." Republicans, especially Neo-Cons, are wearing RED TIES almost exclusively. I think this metamorphosis took place during the 2004 campaign where GWB switched his phallic color from blue to red to send a subliminal message to his supporters that he wears his party around his neck. Better than an albatross, I guess, but he may be the GOP's albatross with... Sign in to see full entry.

of Beginnings and Endings

Life has no beginning. You can't find it, not even in the smallest of things. The sperm is a living cell, so is the ovum. Neither die, but intergrate with each other, sharing information to form into a living being. Each human is both half male and half female. If you've ever masturbated, you've had a homosexual experience, one you liked so much you embraced it again, and again, and... An Idea

Thinking ahead can be the best medicine for the soul. I've done some thinking about the survivors of Katrina-- and this is something I came up with. Maybe it could be worked on with some of your comments, suggestions--let's all work on it and make a proposal to our Congress. Emergency Employment and Housing Act for Survivors of Natural Disaster: Purpose: To quickly employ those citizens struck by National Disaster events, loosing jobs and/or housing. Method: Encourage business owners and... Sign in to see full entry.

Comment to Kooka--Revolvation

Chaos and Order are ancient ideas found in Sumerian and Egyptian culture. The polytheistic religions of both alow for Chaos as the begining and Order coming out of Chaos to manifest Creation. On another level, the Greeks realized that the Gods were not all powerful. They could not answer for the Fates, those mysterious experiences laid on humanity that put a wrench in all the well laid plans--mostly related to weather and Earth's temperment, earthquakes, floods, drought, volcanoes, etc. But...
