Nature’s savage beauty - a photopoem

Snuggled down in a pile of straw the small owl with a dead Starling I saw. The laser green eyes pierced straight through me the sharp beak poised to gain it’s next meal. Scarcely eight inches tall with his white tufted chest and head he dared us to take his meal. I suppose he thought we were filled... Sign in to see full entry.
