Beach Trip!

T is heading to the beach today with her other grandmother and her cousin and uncle. Last year they went to Chattanooga instead of taking their annual beach trip to the Gulf because of the oil spill. Now that my mind is made up to retire before the year is out, everything seems to be falling into place. Happy Independence Day!

Our holiday company left yesterday, so we have some time to relax and enjoy a nice quiet 4th of July. My grandson stayed with us from Friday evening until late Sunday afternoon. Slow Progress

While I have moved rapidly to get the guardianship issue resolved, the legal system can move as slowly as molasses in winter. It has been my impression from past experiences that attorneys and judges look at "cases" and do not consider there are actual people behind the words on their pleadings and...
