Life is Like an Onion

Life is like an onion; you peel off one layer at a time and sometimes you weep. I first heard this concept when teaching junior high. Researchers concluded that children's futures were determined by age two! They put children into two categories; they were going to be roses or onions. The rose kids seemed to do everything right.
