(Note to Young Things: this comes from pre-computer forms of accounting.) But "Black Friday" sounds ominous, like something bad happens then,... Sign in to see full entry.

The Not-So-Big Home

My heroine, architect Sarah Susanka, was interviewed this morning on Morning Edition. If you go to the NPR website, right on the homepage (for the next few days, anyway) there is both an audio link to the interview and a photo gallery of "Not-So-Big" design ideas. Good Song, Bad Dream

The Best Song In The Universe is Fountains of Wayne's "Stacey's Mom." This is not because it's a particuarly good song, or particularly nice to hear, or particularly inspirational or memorable. No, it's the Best Song In The Universe because for the least three days it has inspired Otter to go around... Sign in to see full entry.
