Thank Goodness for NetFlix!

If it weren't for my NetFlix account, I'd be watching nothing on the tube. We have hit a wastland consisting of non-entertainment. When is this stupid reality show kick going to end? The ideas they have been concocting have been so, soooo lame! Sign in to see full entry.

DANG TNT!

They had a "cliffhanger" episode of NYPD Blue yesterday afternoon, and the next episode of the series will not be shown until Monday. Why not? Golf. That, in my opinion, idiotic game of golf will be on all afternoon and into the evening. What a worthless decision by TNT. Keep the sports on the... Sign in to see full entry.

History Channel Looks at Bible's "Lost" Books

Last night there was a two-hour show about books of scripture that did not make it into the authorized version of the Bible. Surprisingly, a couple of those books are in the Koran. The missing books go into the childhood of Jesus, into the life of Mary, Jesus' mother, and into the life of Mary... Sign in to see full entry.

Alf is back? Hide your cats!

I watched the Alf "Talk Show" last night and was not impressed, although I enjoyed the guests he had on. I guess they are going to start running Alf on TVLand; I could do without that. Sign in to see full entry.

Dead Like Me

New Season Starts July 25th, and I am looking forward to that. It was a most interesting, funny, and even thought-provoking show. Look at the following Dead Like Me Web Site for more info and a trailer for the new season: Dead Like Me Sign in to see full entry.

Been Watching NYPD Blue Reruns on TNT

And I am seeing a lot of episodes I missed. It is like finding a gift I had misplaced. If you have not watched this series, I highly recommend it. I think that the next season, starting this coming Fall, will be the last season; at least, that is what I have read. Sign in to see full entry.

Television has reverted to a vast visual wasteland

And that is why there has been little activity on this blog. I did record the movie about the Rosenburg's, written, I think, by their grand daughter. I am looking forward to seeing that, but not much else. I was even disappointed in the season premier of Six Feet Under. Sign in to see full entry.

A & E Movie about D-Day from Ike's Point of view . . . .

(I think it was A & E!) was excellent. We see so much of that eera from the battlefield scenes in movies, but it was refreshing to see the story told from behind the lines, to experience what might have gone on in Ike's mind and behind closed doors during the planning stages of D-Day. Bravo to the... Sign in to see full entry.

Lion in Winter on Showtime . . .

Have started watching this most interesting movie, a remake, and am anxious to see the end. This newer version is very well done, and the acting is very good. Don't miss this if you have Showtime. Sign in to see full entry.

Off Season . . . .

'Tis the time to sample some shows that lost out over your favorites. Maybe they were good enough to make them your new favorites when the new season starts up. I'm really looking forward to the new seasons for Dead Like Me and Six Feet Under, both excellent shows. Sign in to see full entry.
