Tribute to Frank Gorshin

who just died. He was 72; his wife of 48 years was with him when he passed. Frank Gorshin, to help you recall, was the Riddler on the original Batman TV series; he also played an interesting part in the original Star Trek series. I'd seen him in other shows and movies as well, and always enjoyed his... Sign in to see full entry.

STAR TREK Finale

Kind of week, I thought. Seems they were trying to wrap up a lot of story lines at once, and two hours just didn't do it. Kind of interesting on how rthe federation got its start. But to make it, the series would have to go back to one story a week, rather than the prolonged story lines spanning... Sign in to see full entry.

Gray's Anatomy . . .

I'd had my fill of medical shows and haven't watched ER since its first season. But Gray's Anatomyu, which I tuned into with trepedation, has turned out to be an excellent show, with well-developed characters who have lives outside the hospital. Likewise, patients are more than mere shadow... Sign in to see full entry.

Could be Good; Could be Terrible!

This movie on Discovery tonight (Saturday, April 16th)should be really good, or a complete flop. It is on tonight and I'm recording it, just in case it is good. I don't really like disaster movies, but, since it is on the Discovery Channel, maybe there is some science in it? Here is the site to tell... Sign in to see full entry.

Eyes . . . .

is a new show with an interesting concept, interesting characters, yet, I just did not really care about the characters, and the plot was a "so what" story. I may watch one more episode to be fair, but I think I hold my hopes too high. Sign in to see full entry.

Well, finally a Blind Justice I enjoyed . . . .

Blind Justice has done little for me, but, the last episode was fairly good. Will the stories continue to improve? Doubtful, but there is always hope! Sign in to see full entry.

Blind Justice

just does not do a thing for me. Interesting concept, sure, but not for an entire series taking up even one season on TV. I could have taken a one-time movie, but certainly not the inane stories they keep coming up with, or at least did until I gave up on the show early in its run. Sign in to see full entry.

Medium, the show . . . .

is a large part of my weekly entertainment value on TV. Excellent show with enough twists to keep us guessing. Sign in to see full entry.

StarTrek is Finally Coming to a Close . . . . .

This particular series, the current one, started out really interesting, then delved into soap opera writing. If Star Trek ressurrects itself, I hope there is some improvement and some more creative writing, as there used to be. Sign in to see full entry.

Weird movie involving the transmission of info into the past . . . . .

It was a movie on HBO a week or two ago, titled "Feedback." It was not a great movie, but the concept was certainly interesting. Sign in to see full entry.
