Pulling Out of Iraq

I have an interesting point of view that just hit me; since Iraqis have suffered much more in terms of deaths and injuries than Americans, perhaps the insurgents want us to stay and the Iraquis to pull out of Iraq? Sign in to see full entry.

They Are Among Us!

Who, you ask? They! They! Beware for your very lives! It is the hour of danger. Who are they? The aliens from other planets far away in another galaxy. Beings from other dimensions who are just inches from us, but we can't detect their dimensional frappassivity. Spirits of the dead are with us! They... Sign in to see full entry.

Can Atheists Pray? What is prayer?

What is prayer? Do people of all religions pray? Do Atheists and Agnostics Pray? I got to thinking about those questions this morning and thought I’d write about it to see if I or someone reading this blog could come up with answers. Wonderful Book by Kurt Vonnegut.

If you have not read Kurt Vonnegut's most recent book (he is 83 and still going strong on his writing!), A Man without a Country, you need to find a copy right now and read it. Forget 9/11

Forget 9/11 It is far past the time for us to drop the crutches, so to speak, of 9/11. 9/11 has been used to explain, excuse, cajole and defraud for long enough. Sure, 9/11 was a rough day for the United States, to risk understatement. Americans died, foreigners died; brave men and women died with... Sign in to see full entry.

An Excellent Vampire Series of Books

which I have been reading is the "Southern Vampire Series" by Charlaine Harris. Five books are out, so far, and I am about half finished with the fifth. The books are unusual and well worth a read, even if you are not a particular fan of the Vampire Genre. For more info, go to the author's site:... Sign in to see full entry.
