Church Functions

Some churches make good multi-purpose facilities that can be used by the community. some are not so versatile, while others, not so versatile, have out buildings the community can use. An Idea to Improve Retention of Sermons . . . .

Lay Monitors, to walk about the church during sermons to keep people awake. I understand they were once used by Puritans and the like. The monitors would have long sticks with strings or feathers on the end and could reach among the people in the pews to wake up an individual who was sleeping, or... Sign in to see full entry.
