Courageous Civil Rights Fighter Moves On

Rosa Parks, a true hero of our era, has transitted to the afterlife, where whe will be greeted and honored by saints, as well as by her God. Her lesson to us is that one person may very well change the course of history, and that one person need not be anyone other than an ordinary citizen seeking to correct a wrong. Rest in Peace, Rosa Parks; you deserve it. Sign in to see full entry.

Saddam on Trial

Kind of interesting, listening to parts of the trial this morning on my way to work. Sounds as if the paper trail is enough to get the guy hung. This is one instance, if he is found guilty, that there should be public execution of the man. This would be a harsh and definite symbol to other tyrants, and would provide closure to the people of Iraq. I do wonder why the trail is not recessed until November 28th, unless that date was a misprint. Sign in to see full entry.

I look for true fiscal conservatism and a party platform approaching that of the Libertarians. Sign in to see full entry.

Let Senator Mary of LA Punch Me Out!

She's basically threatened to punch out any who disagree with her. Well, following is an e-mail I sent her: I hope you have calmed down enough not to take violent action against me for the following comments. Heck, I'm not even a direct constituent of yours, but, you are a U. S. Senator and what you do and say in the Senate both represents me as an American and affects me directly. Louisiana, New Orleans and other local governments dropped the ball. The federal government is not, nor should it... Sign in to see full entry.
