Then I Woke Up-(Written April 25,2009/1:00am)

Your arms wrapped around me, Your kisses flood my lips, You look down on me smiling and it takes my breath away. My fingertips memorizes every curve of your jaw, Every memory burned in my memory for when you have to go home again. You whisper something in my ear, Distored and too low to understand. I turn to ask you what you said, Only to be met with blurried images and a spinning head. Don't Say It Unless You Mean It

Your words flow like a song from your lips to my heart, So easy they come, I'm afraid that as quick as they appear they will fade into the air. I wanna believe the utterings you claim, But they seem just like words in the light of day. So I ask that you only say what you mean, To not get carried away in the moment, To not tell me what you think I need to hear. It's been montths since I've seen your face, My arms are aching to feel you in them.
