Saturday, October 2, 2004sporadic glory and rocks turned into wedding cakesIt's midday sunday and I've just been for a run along the coast. Just off my beach is Wedding Cake Island. Now the geological reality seems pretty much the antithesis of a wedding cake. It's a flat and fairly unremarkable rock. I've lived here for over five years and often puzzled over the name....
