Humans come up with the silliest nicknames for their animal companions!!

"Nuthead" and "Fluffy Monkey" are two names the warden insists on calling me, and they both came about from the same activity. When the warden is out in her garden, she often crouches down to pull weeds, dig holes, etc. I just can't resist this opportunity. I fly at her, scale Mt. Everest (i.e., her... In memory of my friend, my "earth angel" with fur.

My cat Tiger died a year ago today. I wrote a poem about him then, which I've continued to work on. Here is the latest version. Rocky is busy playing with lizards.........................................

Warden Quirky here. I've decided to commandeer Rocky's blog and post something in it, since he apparently can't be bothered to write anything these days. GAA! You may never believe what I saw the warden do with a pooper scooper!

The warden (Quirky to you humans) has this thing she calls a "cat box" that's filled with itty-bitty, gritty sand.
