The cushions are soaking wet left behind from hot summer days when we couldn't imagine rain. Now a month before we expected it, we have rain. My sinuses protest the... Sign in to see full entry.

Patience

Today after I went shopping, I waited for my friend to finish. She took an hour more than me. But I had no place to go, the car was comfortable and the air was just the right temperature. So I listened to the news on the radio, and fell asleep. I have a lot of patience. It was developed, when I was... Sign in to see full entry.

Happy Birthday

Are birthdays past forty still fun? Is getting old something to celebrate? Or should we skip birthdays after thirty? i am proud of my age. I earned these wrinkles. Fatigue

does not describe how I feel. I fall asleep and start to snore during church. I fall asleep midsentence in a conversation. My mind no longer makes sense I am walking in my sleep. I need more than five hours of sleep. Sign in to see full entry.

Format

Will formatting make a poem better or worse. Is a beautiful woman better looking in a dress or nude. We seem to know the answers, but style adds as well as subtracts. Nature untamed means unshaven hair and dense forests. Can we get it right? Nature left to itself Nature defiled? I think there is a... Sign in to see full entry.

Stars

One night I went out late at night, in the country away from lights the sky was full of stars. I hadn't seen stars for years. living in the city but that night I saw stars. When I was a girl I would see the moonlight shining on the snow one night I heart a coyote howl and saw his silhouette on the... Sign in to see full entry.
