My Murshid Is Passing

My Murshid Is Passing My Murshid (spiritual teacher) celebrated his 80th birthday, announcing his work is done. A few weekks later he suffered a stroke. Now he is in the doorway between the two worlds. My relationship as his mureed (student) has already shifted. He has begun speaking to me from within. He is there when I call on him. If I Was In Charge If I was in charge of this world, all people would have food, shelter, and meaningful work. All would have medical care from birth to death as their birthright. If I was in charge, everyone would be kind. In my world, no one would live in fear and darkness. Everyone in my world would know The Creator; All would serve one another. Mission of Mercy I am on a mission of mercy to be with a dying friend and teacher. He has guided me on my path for more than twenty years. Now I am privileged to be with him as he makes his transition. He has been a perfect friend, honoring my gifts overlooking my faults.
