‘Touching’ history…

A couple of days ago Kabu and Wiley had a big argument, probably as intense as those two will ever argue! The issue? Who shot down the Red Baron! At L’s village there are a few dairy farms left, but much of it has become ‘gentrified’, the properties being bought up by Hamburgers. I’m back…XIV

As I mentioned, I didn’t just hang around in Hamburg. I also took trips into the countryside, where L and J own a cottage. Located about 85 miles or so north of Hamburg, it’s actually a farmhouse at the very edge of a village. It’s a couple of centuries old, and protected under the State’s landmark... Hamburg is richly endowed with public transit. They have a subway, sometimes elevated, that looks after the inner city but also connects to the suburbs.
