God is in control of everything and if we do not fear death then we don't need to fear what is happening in the world right now.

LonerGreen, firstly, a warm welcome to the lands of Blogitville. Seondly, all fears have their root in death. When, and what way it comes, nobody can foretell or forestall, so acceptance is the best course. It is not easy though as it is to preach, but one can make friends with death, and all fears will vanish. Thinking and speculating can indeed be scary, as you say.

We are living in the best of times and the worst of times. BUT, like the previous comment says, "God is in control!" God is our source and regardless of what happens, if we hold to God's unchanging hand we will be alright. Good post!

I must agree with you, we definitely live in the best time ever, but we are also creating destruction, chaos, and all
sorts of problems for ourselves, but the good news is,
God Is In Control and we must not fear. His will shall be
done in all of our lives. Great post.
