Grey Day

It is an iron day, Autumn's blaze turned bland Beneath breezes of steel And skies of unrelenting slate To leave the world in shades of grey; Amid concrete citadels I stand Marvelling at how I feel Such joy that I must celebrate Each colourless specatacle I see And watching, smiling, I become free.
