Counting my blessings

Ah, what a wonderful week, despite my penumonia and other issues. I managed to get most of the house cleaned and somewhat organized. Possibly about to be published and have questions!

I have just heard from the publishing company I've queried on my Poetry Anthology manuscript. They are interested in my work, and have made me an offer - however, I am not sure this is the "norm" for the publishing world. Feeling better today... Phew!

I am feeling much better today, thank God! I'm trying to get the Trouble Trio to bed, albeit unsuccessfully, LOL. Gabby is throwing a temper tantrum as I write, and I am desperately trying to ignore her. Shouldn't be long before she goes to sleep with as cranky as she is! I spent most of the day... Dammit, just as I suspected...

I just got back from the doctor's office, and just as I suspected, I have walking pneumonia. That would explain a lot. Thank God for military health insurance - I left with six prescriptions and it didn't cost me a cent! I HATE to think what I'd have paid otherwise... Clairitin, Zithromax, Ambien,... AAAAAAHHHHHH! Peace at last, LOL

It is 1:45 in the afternoon on Monday, and despite no children since 8:30 this morning, this is the first time I've sat down to relax. Today's Olympic Events in the LadyGhost Stadium:

Sigh... It's Sunday morning and I'm counting the hours until school starts! That must make me sound like a horrible mother, but what can I say?
