11/21/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human is doing about as well as can be expected today. I snuggled with her some this morning, just as a sort of excuse to check up on her and make sure she was OK. As I've said many times before, I worry about my human constantly. I wish she were healthier, so she wouldn't go missing on me so... Sign in to see full entry.

11/20/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

I finally let my human out of my sight for a small spell yesterday afternoon. Put simply, I needed a break; it's exhausting taking care of humans with the extensive nursing needs of my regular human servant. All I did was go through the Tunnel system to a local nip tea shop, and relaxed over a... Sign in to see full entry.

11/19/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

I haven't let my human out of my sight today. Frankly, I'm worried that she might go missing on me yet again; she says she is feeling some of the aftereffects of her procedure the other day, and I'm worried that those aftereffects will make her go missing on me again. As you can imagine, I don't... Sign in to see full entry.

11/18/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

I have to admit to being worried about my human yet again. She seems very run down to me - and also very irritable. Perhaps this is an aftereffect of the procedure she underwent the other day; she tells me that they performed minor surgery while they were in her large intestine looking around.... 11/17/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human wrote about her experience with her test in her blog, My Journal, this morning. Unfortunately, she pressed the Save & Post button twice, resulting in duplicate postings. Humans - sometimes I just don't understand them. My visit with Pepper and Penny went well. We enjoyed the excuse to get... Sign in to see full entry.

11/16/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human got back from her test today, much earlier than I'd anticipated. She is doing well, although they found something called a polyp in her colon. They removed the polyp, because my human tells me that if they left it alone, there would be a good chance that it would develop into colon cancer.... Sign in to see full entry.

11/15/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Today, my human begins preparation for a big medical test tomorrow. While she's off at the evil vet lady tomorrow, I might sneak off to see my friends Pepper and Penny - I saw them once last month, only to find out that were both spayed. It will be nice to do the nip-tea-and-gossip thing with them.... Sign in to see full entry.

11/14/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

I didn't update this blog yesterday because I was busy working on my book. I wrote two whole pages yesterday - actually, more like 1.5 pages - so I was one busy kitty. My humans went to the animal shelter again yesterday (they'd gone on Friday, in case I didn't mention it then). I might have... Sign in to see full entry.

11/12/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

I took a play day off today, and didn't write anything in my book. I feel positively decadent, quite frankly. Don't worry - I plan on returning to work on my book tomorrow. My human is feeling remarkably well today. She has been using her wheelchair less and walking around more, which is very... Sign in to see full entry.

11/11/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Today is Veteran's Day here in the United States. All the focus is on human veterans with one exception: Animal Planet is doing a special on American carrier pigeons and German hawks. The way the ads read, the hawks were specially designed to bring down the carrier pigeons so that messages didn't... Sign in to see full entry.
