HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you, your families and loved ones. I have been thinking of the things that make me unhappy. I will not bore you with all of them, for goodness sakes; I will share a bit of my ponderings. I would truly like an end to many things that are going on. An end to the things below would make me happy! An end without reprisal in Iraq. An end to public ugliness, vulgar talk, clothing that equates to little more than two shoe strings and a round band-aid or two and nasty or no... Sign in to see full entry.

THE OLD GREY GOOSE IS ABOUT DEAD
I excused myself from a little visit over brunch with my husband to write. I informed him I was being lazy and not writing much anymore. "I need to write every day." I informed him. "Justi, that would be an excellent idea if only you had some opinions. People want opinions, on politics, religion and assorted subjects. Not surprised at all but encouraged that my expectations were correct. I was not aware that there was as much difference in the opinions between the Liberals and the Conservatives in who's responsibility it was to help the poor. Also this reflects on who really wants big government. It appears Liberals think it is the job of the government to help the poor. It... Sign in to see full entry.

LOTS OF ISSUES SWIRLING RIGHT NOW WANT TO ADD YOUR 2 CENTS?
I am sure all of you remember a specific war going on a few months ago. It seems Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers and would not return them. The war was on. On Blogit and across the world people cried out for a stop to this. They came to an agreement, a truce the Hezbollah agreed to give back the men and draw back and Israel agreed to pull out and the UN agreed to send in peace keeping troupes. That was so much BS it smells all the way to my house. Hezbollah lied as is normal. They still... Sign in to see full entry.
