This is all true. I lived in Alaska while the pipeline was being built and Ted Stevens was the biggest crook to ever walk on two feet. One of his relatives created a company named VECO. My husband tried to get our trucks leased onto this company to haul material up the haul road to be used in building this pipeline. He was told that he would need to pay $5,000. in cash to the manager of VECO in order to get a lease. If I remember correctly this person was Ted Stevens' son-in-law. YES, Sarah...
