A strong free nation? Is that what you thought The United States of America was? This country was founded on Christian principles and anyone who says different is a liar and the truth is not in them. There is no separation of Church and State only freedom of religion. The government was saying it can not decide your doctrines, Catholic or Protestant, in the case of the only evidence ignorant use is a letter to a Baptist Minister, it has been taken totally out of context.
