Last Week We Had Lots Of Rain

Ahhhh . . . Rain

Flossie--No Longer A Threat?

She's now a Category 1 hurricane. We got a bit worried this afternoon when she took a turn northward, but the NWS has since downgraded her. Still, she packing winds of nearly 100mph and is still capable of doing some real damage to us should she continue on her new path. We're not out of the woods... Sign in to see full entry.

Flossie gets closer

Looks like Hurricane Flossie (who thinks up these names!?!?) is getting closer to us. Last I checked, she was about 800 miles from Hawaii and still going strong. Flossie -- HAH!

So we're keeping out eye on Flossie. She was just upgraded from a tropical storm into a hurricane. She's expected to pass south of the Hawaiian Islands, but you never know--she may change direction.
