Captain America

Marvel Comic Book hero Captain America was killed in the issue of his namesake comic that hit stands Wednesday,March 7.On the new edition's pages, a sniper shoots down the shield-wielding hero as he leaves a courthouse. Anne Frank Tree

The Tree that comforted diarist Anne Frank while she hid from the Nazi's in Amsterdam during WW II is to be cut down it was reported on Friday March 9. Paul Rogers
