Lamar Hunt

Lamar Hunt, who helped shape the modern-day NFL and is credited with coining the term Super Bowl, died in mid-December 2006 at age 74, of prostate cancer. Slobodan Milosevic

Milosevic is another person whose death I missed due to that six months I lost earlier in the year. He died in prison in March 2006, while waiting for his trial to finish. Lloyd Bentsen

It's time for me to catch up on all the obituaries I missed during the six months I spent in and out of the hospital this year. One of the people who died during this time period was Sen.
