Christopher Glenn

Cristopher Glenn, age 68, died last week of liver cancer. He had two major claims to fame. During the 1970s and 1980s, he anchored the children's news program called In The News, a small feature which aired on CBS in between children's programs on Saturday mornings. The recipient of the first baboon bone-marrow transplant

I did not name the patient for privacy's sake (the man deserves at least some privacy in eternity), but this man got a bone-marrow transplant in 1995, in the hope that this experimental procedure would help alleviate the effects of the AIDS virus in his system.
