ON A FROSTY MORN IN DIXIE, FOR YOU WITHOUT A CLUE, USA, SOUTHEAST..

FROST Cold it was last night, Frost there is everywhere, Wonderful patterns random, Glazing surfaces many, varied, What beauty found within, Candy for the eye, obscuring, Crystallization, nature’s brush, Images never to be seen again, Disappearing forever with the sun, Enjoy the sight, admire the marvel, While you can, for like life, fleeting is, Mother’s grace upon the world, If you grow teary eyed, sorrowful too, At the lost of such of nature’s treasures, Just remember, the cold will come... MONEY Money, coin of the realm, Specie, script, plastic, electronic, Engine of commerce, Accumulation of productivity, Source of friction between classes, All this and more money is, Can’t do anything without, Yet it is not everything, They say money can’t buy happiness, Could have fooled me, or many, Bills always due, always need more, Money, money, need more money, I just as soon have my honey, For with money comes woes, worries, Nice to have, essential even, So hard to earn, harder to keep,... FIRST COMMAND Here Captain stood, Proud of assignment, A heavy patrol boat, A ship really, 27 meters, Two big diesels, radar, 40mm main gun, missiles too, Crew of 23, Ex, Chief also, SEAL team assigned as needed, Ship’s mission patrol the straits, Dangerous waters, combat likely, The Captain’s first command, New ship, with green crew, In harm’s way they would go, Drill much, plan, improvise, So when Battle Stations sounded, Their Lady, lean, mean, fast, ready, Out of the harbor, getting sea...
