OK, so here is a prime example of my forgetfulness... I buy my brother (a teenager) a hat for Christmas - because I allowed the middle-aged sales guy to talk me into it --- a $30.00 hat!! --even though I knew my brother didn't really ever wear hats. It's true. Sometimes I just can't help myself. And almost everytime, someone catches me in the act... and my cluelessness lives on for the duration of my friends' attention spans--which can be quite eternal if nothing else exciting or hilarious comes to take its place.
