My fat brother and obese sister (250-300 lbs - at least) and their son - my adorable 6 year old nephew, have left. They came Monday night and left about 6 hours ago. It is 12:03 am. Officially Christmas 1985. I am alone in the guest house. It is beautiful. Lots of glass, cathedral ceilings, skylights and a deck overlooking the beach and the water. My mother is VERY loud. I have also been accused of being loud, not by RG, but Robin used to say I was loud. Mom speaks in a high pitched voice that is near hysteria all the time. Erika is asleep beside me. We're on the train to New London to catch the Orient ferry to my parents house for Christmas. The sky is gray, snow laden.
