About this Blog
If man,by nature, desires to know, why do most children hate school? The current trend in education seems to be toward earlier and earlier enrollment but in our zeal to fast track our children toward success we may be killing their natural curiosity. There is so much talk in the political arena about education but it's practically taboo to criticize the public school system. We're all supposed to believe that more money will solve the problems of public education. On a recent trip to Costa Rica I learned that their literacy rate and high school graduation rate are about 95%. The average income there is $500 a month. Money doesn't equal a quality education.
