The new plants--peppers, Japanese eggplant, zucchini, and beets have gone to ground, so to speak. Now we have to get the watering system starting up so I don't have to carry buckets of water up and down stairs. I already had to reconfigure the tubs to make sure they have the best hours of summer sun as these are all full-sun plants. They will be getting 8-10 hours, I am guessing, in early summer, maybe more like 9-12 in midsummer. Suddenly, a ruckus! Two magpies out back are hollering at each... Sign in to see full entry.
