Imagine wearing a coat with many pockets, imagine filling them with a dozen 5 lb bags of sugar. Imagine walking around, up and down stairs, wearing that coat. Then, imagine taking it off. Some years ago, even before I was diagnosed with diabetes, I reached a personal limit of weight--I simply was sick at heart, to read the scale in what seemed an inexorable creep upwards.
