This morning ash was falling, and a pall still hangs over Seattle... So many fires, north, south, and east of here. When we fly out tonight if I have a south-facing window, I may be able to see the one burning along the Columbia River. Started, I'm hearing, by a couple of kids throwing firecrackers off a cliff.
