update on doves
This dedicated mama returned to the nest and has been keeping on eye on me when I peer at her. She flew away once more when I set out some wild bird food, but I can just catch her eye from the sliding door without opening it. On that last occasion, while she was away I managed to get a shot of the two eggs. I've sent an email to the Wildlife Trusts organization in England as they seem likeliest to know if it would be a good or bad idea to turn on the light in the fixture. It's only 40 watts, and...
