Smoke in the skies of Colorado--again!
After hiding from the heat downstairs most of the afternoon, I glanced out a window and saw that peculiar orangey cast to the air and the afternoon light... There is a fire burning in the forest near Nederland, west of Boulder. But this is from a much less dangerous fire burning southeast of Colorado Springs, at Fort Carson. Apparently it was started by soldiers in training exercises, and is relatively small, already contained, and never threatened any structures. Sure does make a lot of smoke,...
