The lilacs are leafing out nicely, unsmirched by late freezes and snows. The maple off the front deck is growing greener by the sunny hour. My little sprouts of sugar snap peas are looking optimistic. It is a clear view towards the mountain, which has a fresh white frosting which will likely become patchy during the afternoon.
