Summer Days...
We'll be back to spring next week, but we've had a couple of days over 80F and today will be close. Another harbinger of summer is visible on the southern edge of the sky: massive smoke clouds rising from a wildfire that has gone from half- to 0-contained overnight. It's an area of grasslands mainly and started near Hwy 115 which suggests a carelessly tossed cigarette. But only the wild things have been disturbed: no structures burnt, no evacuations called for.
