I knew this was coming...
There's a wind up and the leaves are rattling on the great old maple tree off the end of my deck, and flurries of leaves are dancing in the air like frantic butterflies! Last week the maple was still green, just showing a bit of gold, and it only took a couple of cold nights for the change. Today was warm, low 70s, but now the sun has ducked behind the mountains and the thermometer is heading down the glass rapidly. If the wind keeps up through the night, I expect I'll be able to see Pike's Peak... Sign in to see full entry.
